Description: This is a 8x10" oil painting on board which depicts a snowy winter landscape at sunset with the light shinning through the forest. I painted this landscape all prima (wet on wet) over the course of a few days. I just love capturing light in my paintings and this scene just spoke to the artist in me when I saw it on a recent hike near home. I talk about my #painting process and techniques as well as the story of how this particular #landscape came to be. Looking for longer, more detailed painting videos & reference photos?
